100 Books Meme

Found on Gryphonrhi's LiveJournal. These things seem to go around every so often, and it's always amusing.

Bold the ones you've read COMPLETELY, italicize the ones you've read part of. Watching the movie or the cartoon doesn't count. Abridged versions don't count either. BTW, according to the BBC if you've read 7 of these, you are above the average. My comments are in parentheses.)

I'd've thought you'd read more from that list. Huh. Just goes to show that people'll always surprise, I guess.

I was actually surprised myself at how few I'd read. I'm not one for the "classics" though. If movies counted, there'd be quite a few more there. I love the A&E versions of the Jane Austen books, though I cant' get into the books themselves.

How would that list look for you?

I'm not much of a classics girl either, if you excuse the phase in high school (and the stuff I had to read for English). That said, my version's kind of embarrassing… and slip up for being too long.

I see you've done more with the first half of the list than the second. But, you've definitely read a lot of the list. Good job there.

Anassa said...

Yeah, I don't know why that is. ^^; I guess I should be proud of this, because there's a speculative fiction must-read list floating around that I've barely read anything of…

Thanks.

Interesting and different list. I'll give it a try later this week! (Always nice to see what I've missed.)

I'm curious to see your list when you get it done, JG.
