Saturday Snapshots is a fun little meme hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books, where you can post a photo taken by you or a friend/family member each week. The photos don't even have to have been taken in that previous week!
Honestly, I'm starting to find this is the meme I look forward to the most now each week. This week I'm posting two images, unrelated.
The first is a photo of Jenny, who looks like she's had a few too many cameras stuck in her face. This particular one was taken by Jeff.
The second is the fiber and singles currently (until this past evening, anyway) on my spinning wheel. I've gotten back into that hobby of mine in a big way in the past few days.

Jenny is BEAUTIFUL and wants a kiss on that sweet nose!
So here I go --
xxoo 2 Jenny.
Oops, my own cat, Jack -- just gave me a jealous look!
jenny is a cutie. I love the shot of the fiber -- my daughter loves to spin as well.
Jenny certainly looks like she's had enough! She's very sweet :)
Love the cat's expression!
The kitty picture looks "Seriously? You're taking another shot?". LOL
That fiber is quite lovely. The colors are so nice.
Cats have a wonderfully expressive way of letting us know when it's enough! She seems to be saying: "Really? Another one?"
Love the fiber, too. Gorgeous!
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT
That face is awesome..she certainly looks like she's had it with the camera! The fiber is gorgeous..do you knit or crochet your own fiber too???
Cat faces can be so expressive--and this one is definitely saying "leave me alone!" And I love the colors in that thread...beautiful!
I love Jenny's face...and the honesty of cats' :)
Thanks everyone, I'm glad you liked the two photos.
The fiber is fun to work with too - varying textures and colours. I've plied the two bobbins with a single sparkling silver thread, It looks great.
Staci, usually I've been using commercial wool - I'm just beginning with the crochet, but I have done a little bit of knitting with my own yarns. This though, I have plans for. I'm visualizing a lacy scarf - maybe something like a checkerboard of meshy stitches and then some double crochet. I have to do some figuring and experimenting first though.
That is so cool that you spin your own wool! And I love Jenny's eyes - such beautiful colors!
I think our cat Solan sympatizes with Jenny in a big way :-)
I used to be able to use a spinning wheel when I was a kid, my grandmother taught me. What do you do with the yarn, weave or knit?
Yeah, Jenny doesn't look too happy.
That is one cool kitty! I know what you mean about this meme - this one and Bermuda Onions' Wondrous Words Wednesday are so much fun!
No, I'm not too sure what was going on, but that is one expression that says "watch out or feel my claws!"
Jenny and her sister have lovely eyes - I think that's part of why they're so tired of the camera in their faces.
I'd like to try weaving, but for now, most of the time the answer is neither - when it doesn't just sit in a drawer while I figure out what I want to do with it, I crochet.
I'll have to check that one out!
Thanks everyone for all the lovely comments!
Jenny does look as though she's reached the end of her patience!
So so sweet!
Here is my Saturday Snapshot post!
Most definitely, Cathy.
Thanks for dropping in, Gautami.
