Saturday Snapshots is a fun little non-book related meme hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books where you can post a photo or snapshot you or someone you know has taken.
Went out last night and took some photos at a nearby park. I don't often do night shooting, but it was lots of fun, although by the end of the evening it was cold! Worth it though, as this was one of the prizes - as was the sunset itself:
Can't wait to get out and take more photos soon - weather permitting.

Good shot! I've always wanted to give night photography a try.
Thanks Cathy. It's lots of fun to do - I know I want to do more of it soon, in spite of the fact that it's still cold at night right now.
You've captured all the lights and their reflections beautifully.
Ooh, I love night shots - this is great with all the lights.
What a great shot! Those clouds are a wonderful contrast to the lit up buildings.
Just beautiful! Lights and water ... a magical combo!
SO beautiful -- where is this?
I love night shots, especially around water, with light reflections...this one is great!
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT
I'm not so good at night shots, but you are. Great shot.
Love those reflections! How beautiful.
Lovely reflections. I always find night shots a little more challenging than day.
That is beautiful! I've never had the opportunity to try a reflection shot like that with city lights - maybe someday!
Such a lovely photo--and the reflection is just so perfect. Where is this?
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks everybody. Glad you like it.
That looks great.
I always find nights photography hard. Did you hold the camera or did you bring a tripod?
Thanks Eva, I brought a tripod. The results of the shots where I was holding the camera are not even worth the harddrive space, they're that bad.
Glad you liked it!
That's a great photo! I love the reflections in the water.
Oh, I love that. I am very much an urbanite, and I love cityscape. In this shot though, the sky itself was in cooperation. Such a gorgeous swath of blue.
Terrific.
Awesome photo...such an ominous sky!
Thanks everyone. I'm glad you enjoyed this one.
