Saturday Snapshots - July 7

Saturday Snapshots is a fun little meme hosted each Saturday by Alyce of At Home With Books. It's become one of my favourites to participate in, although I have to admit that I'm not the most regular participant at times.

I got around to downloading a bunch of my photos to my computer this week again though, so I have some new material.

This is one of those things that you want to take photos of once you've gotten a macro lens.

Yes, that was certainly one of the first things I took a picture of after I got my macro lense. Love having a macro, it's so much fun.

Dandelions always invoke memories of childhood walking barefoot through fields. Enjoyed it so much!

So did I, Cathy. I stopped after I learned how much trouble the things were to weed out of the garden though.

Thanks Christine, Darren, Trish.

They're lots of fun to use Kaye, Thanks.

Agreed, Eva. I love it.

Thanks Laurel.

That's very pretty! My husband just bought me a new camera, that I'm sure will take me a while to figure out. I think a macro lens will be going on my wish list.

It certainly went on my list right away. Just didn't give in to the want for another few years. Thanks for dropping in with a comment, Alyce.

Dandelion seeds are so light and airy, and fun to blow around. Except we dig up our dandelions.
Excellent photo.

Did you make a wish?

I think it's a great investment Zara. If you do it, hope you have fun with the result. Thanks for commenting.

Cheryl, I didn't actually blow it.

I love the look of dandelions, but don't like them all over my lawn, which is where I usually see them of course. I have a macro and super macro setting on my camera- they're very fun.

Elena said...

That's about where I see them most of the time too.

Those are definitely fun settings, Louise, thanks for commenting.

Excellent shot! I am glad you took a photo of them before the wind blew it away. Photo shooting is an amazing hobby. I hope I have the time to do photo shooting too. Thank you for sharing your lovely photo with us.

Thanks, Jeff. It's a lot of fun to do too. Especially when you can capture that moment before it disappears forever.
