Am reading a fun sort of chick lit book with a spiritual bent, "Mystic in a Minivan" by Kristen White. This mom of 3 young kids was inspired to tell a story (of a woman who has the seemingly great life that implodes on her. How many people do we know that has THAT happen to them? I can count more than one, that's for sure). Her book is the result of her own spiritual practices and growth. She uses many of the tools in the book -- it's transformed her life!

And I'm about to start a memoir, about a Unitarian minister in Maine. A friend recommended it.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12553309379795237911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8181364634779383173.post-24591325998747844372009-10-26T17:51:02.729-07:002009-10-26T17:51:02.729-07:00Thanks for stopping by, Angela. Kaye, you'll just have to wait and find out :)

Marie, she's one of the authors I'm mixed about. I enjoyed the Tiger and Del books, but these ones I've had for a year and they haven't exactly jumped out at me.Elenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08961035078725474747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8181364634779383173.post-22910777137316322132009-10-26T15:49:37.101-07:002009-10-26T15:49:37.101-07:00Roberson is one of my favorite authors -- I read a...Roberson is one of my favorite authors -- I read a lot of her books a few years ago -- I should read some of her books again -- she has a wonderful style that I enjoy.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09294856404741431282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8181364634779383173.post-75952793474092827482009-10-26T15:45:42.822-07:002009-10-26T15:45:42.822-07:00Okay, you have me curious about Be #1 on Google!Okay, you have me curious about Be #1 on Google!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8181364634779383173.post-51365979886459788002009-10-26T12:05:15.161-07:002009-10-26T12:05:15.161-07:00I haven't participated in this meme for that v...I haven't participated in this meme for that very reason. I am lucky to finish one book a week these days! With my schedule right now one book can sometimes take me two (or even more!) weeks. Last week was a rare week for me when I finished and managed to review two books.

I did start participating in The Sunday Salon a couple weeks ago though so I'm using that to do a recap of my reading as well as talk about other things reading and blog related.

I haven't read any Diana Gabaldon yet but she is on my ever expanding to read list.LibraryGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02228787848421626358noreply@blogger.com
